Steven Dale Jones

Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning songwriter, Steven Dale Jones is best known for his hits "One More Day", recorded by Diamond Rio, "He Gets That From Me", recorded by Reba McEntire, "That's A Man", recorded by Jack Ingram, "10,000 Angels", recorded by Mindy McCready, "Little Things", recorded by Tanya Tucker, "She Wants To Be Wanted", recorded by Ty Herndon, "I Know How The River Feels", recorded by Diamond Rio and "Better Day", recorded by the Gaither Vocal Band.

He has been awarded 8 ASCAP awards including a pop award for the cross over hit "One More Day". He also co-authored a book by the same title.

Steven has performed for many years at venues such as; Sundance, The Bitter End in New York City, and The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. He had two songs included in the BMG compilation "Names Behind The Artist" cd and has also had a song included in the Miramax film "Happy Texas".

Alabama, John Legend, George Strait, John Waite, Trace Adkins, Josh Turner, Kenny Rogers, Pam Tillis, Cassandra Wilson, Moe., Randy Travis, Point Of Grace, Lee Greenwood, Jo Dee Messina, Chely Wright, Darryl Worley, Billy Dean, Dobie Gray, Stephen Bishop, Englebert Humperdink, Shenandoah, Sammy Kershaw, Linda Davis, John Michael Montgomery, Eddy Arnold, Love And Theft, Steve Holy, and others have recorded Steven's songs.

Steven grew up in and around the Muscle Shoals, Alabama music scene and was first signed to Fame Publishing by legendary producer, Rick Hall, after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Finance.

He currently resides in Nashville and has three sons.
