Danny Myrick

Muddy water Mississippi preacher’s kid Danny Myrick grew up playing, singing and writing for his family gospel band in south Mississippi and had his first #1 gospel song at the age of 17. Upon moving to Nashville, Danny had 7 #1 hits in the gospel world before founding 90’s country rock band Western Flyer, with whom he had several top 40 hits. As a writer, he has gone on to have cuts on a diversity of artists from country icons Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney, to Joe Cocker, Rita Wilson and Eddie Vedder, selling over 20 million records combined. 

Danny has celebrated numerous hits, including Craig Morgan’s “International Harvester, Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah”, LoCash’s “I Love This Life” and 2009’s most played country smash, “She’s Country”.  Danny produced recent #1 album “Company’s Comin’ by Actor/Comedian/Social Influencer Leslie Jordan featuring Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton, Eddie Vedder, Brandi Carlile, TJ Osborne and more. 

Danny also wrote recent singles “Raised Right” on rising star Reyna Roberts, and “The Next One” on Combustion artist Payton Smith as well as “One More Sunset” from Kenny Chesney’s newest release, Born!  

As a Band Leader/Event Producer, Danny has shared the stage and performed with such artists as Lainey Wilson, Maren Morris, Lukas Nelson, Jelly Roll, Brothers Osborne, Eddie Vedder and more.
